Maggie’s List proudly congratulates our longtime friend, supporter, founding member, former National Spokeswoman, and trailblazing leader Jennifer Carroll on her nomination to serve as the next United States Ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago. President Trump announced her nomination as part of his latest round of appointments.
On behalf of the Maggie’s List family, Sandra Mortham extends her heartfelt congratulations and gratitude:
“Jennifer Carroll has dedicated her life to service; first in uniform, then in elected office, and now on the international stage. We are incredibly proud to see her continue representing the very best of America. Jennifer has been a steadfast supporter of Maggie’s List and a tireless advocate for conservative women leaders. We congratulate her on this well-deserved nomination and thank her for her years of friendship, leadership, and commitment to our mission.”
Jennifer’s story embodies the American Dream. An immigrant, Navy veteran, former Florida Lieutenant Governor, and one of the first conservative women to help build Maggie’s List, she has spent a lifetime serving her country with courage, integrity, and distinction. As Florida’s first Black Republican woman elected to the Legislature and later the first Black person elected to statewide office in Florida, she has broken barriers while opening doors for others.
For years, Jennifer has been a champion for conservative women, helping encourage, mentor, and support the next generation of leaders. Her commitment to public service and her belief in expanding opportunities for women in government have left a lasting impact on Maggie’s List and countless candidates across the country.
Congratulations, Ambassador-designate Carroll. We wish you continued success as you prepare to serve our nation once again.
