Homelessness isn’t always as far away as we think.

It can begin with a lost job. An unexpected medical bill. A rent increase. A family crisis. A series of circumstances that leaves someone without the safety net they once relied on.

Not everyone who needs our help can walk through our doors. That’s why we go to them.

Every day, The Kearney Center’s Outreach Team travels throughout our community to connect with individuals experiencing homelessness right where they are.

A bottle of water, hygiene supplies, or weather-appropriate clothing may meet an immediate need, but outreach goes much further. Each interaction is an opportunity to build trust, connect someone with resources and services, and help create a pathway toward greater stability and, ultimately, permanent housing.

Our mission extends far beyond the walls of The Kearney Center. It happens in neighborhoods, on sidewalks, and wherever our neighbors need us most.

We’re celebrating a major investment in the future of The Kearney Center and the individuals we serve! 💚

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of local philanthropists Teresa Radzinski and Rick Kearney, The Kearney Center has received a combined $250,000 donation to support much-needed renovations to our facility. These improvements will help us continue providing shelter, healthcare access and case management services while creating spaces that foster dignity, hope and healing for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.
