This Foster Friday, we're featuring some dogs who have spent time in a foster home but are ready to meet you here at the shelter!

Whether they lived in a foster home for a while or went on a sleepover for just a night or two, these pups have shown themselves to be sweet, well-behaved, fun-loving furry friends—and they can't wait to leave their kennel for the last time and settle into their forever home. Come meet your match this weekend!

Interested in meeting some of our dogs currently living in foster homes? A few of our amazing foster dogs—like Nellie, Misty, Panini, Heather, Whisper, and Fred—will be spending some time in our front lobby hoping to find their new family. We can't wait to see you this weekend!

Meet Whisper, a sweet, loving, playful girl who has been waiting patiently to find her forever home! This 2-year-old, 45-pound Boxer mix arrived at the shelter last year, and after becoming a volunteer favorite, she is now settled into an amazing foster home. Whisper is eager to please her people and is quickly picking up on the routines and expectations of home life.

TOMORROW! Don't miss ASF's Foster the Love Adoption Event hosted by Hollywood Feed 🎳🐾💛

Join the Tallahassee Animal Shelter Foundation TOMORROW, June 13th, for a special adoption and foster event, generously hosted by Hollywood Feed!

Adoptable pups from Tallahassee Animal Services will be on site and ready to meet potential new families. You can also meet members of the ASF team, chat with shelter foster parents, and learn more about how fostering gives shelter pets a temporary, loving home to land in while they wait for adoption.

Kitten season is in full swing, and our adorable feline friends need your help! We’re in urgent need of wet food, specifically pate style, to keep our kitties happy and healthy. Any brand or flavor works perfectly (minus the salmon if pawsible - they don't seem to enjoy that type 🙀)
