We’re excited to announce our upcoming Community Yard Sale, taking place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This is a one-day event and a great opportunity to declutter, connect with neighbors, and give items a new home.

To help drive traffic throughout the neighborhood, the Association will have signage placed at key entrances and surrounding areas to advertise the event to non-residents.

Residents who plan to participate are encouraged to sign up to be included on our interactive community map, which will be distributed to the community on April 24, 2026. This map will help visitors easily locate participating homes and maximize exposure for your sale.

Dear Residents,

This is a friendly reminder that your 2026 HOA dues payment is due by March 31, 2026.

If you are unsure of your payment status, we encourage you to contact the HOA office, and we will be happy to assist you. You may also check your account balance through TownSq using your account number, at townsq.io

Please note that any payments received after March 31, 2026 will be considered late and will incur a $25 late fee.

At this time, the most reliable way to ensure your payment is received and processed before the deadline is to drop it off directly at the HOA office, where we can clear payments locally.

For your convenience, a secure drop box is also available on the side door of the office for after-hours submissions.

Our office is located at 2705 Killarney Way, Tallahassee, FL 32309, we are open from 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday.

KHA: Lake Bottom Safety Notice

Dear Residents,

The Association would like to share an important safety notice regarding the lake bottoms within the community.

It has been brought to our attention that several parties have been entering exposed lake bottoms and digging up the lake bottom. While these areas may appear accessible when dry, lake bottoms are not safe or appropriate areas for entry or play and present several concerns.

Please be aware of the following:

Exposed lake beds may contain soft or shifting sediment, uneven ground, hidden debris, or sharp objects that can lead to injury.

The lakes are subject to ongoing invasive-species management and monthly treatment programs conducted in accordance with regulatory standards. These treatments are designed for aquatic systems and are not intended for human contact, particularly when sediment is disturbed.

Lake bottoms may contain naturally occurring bacteria, decomposing organic matter, or other materials that may pose health risks if contacted.

For safety and liability reasons, the Association must clearly state that disturbing the lake bottoms, whether dry or wet, is prohibited. We ask that residents ensure that children are properly supervised when near lakes at all times.

The lakes are part of a managed environmental and stormwater system, and conditions can change without notice. The Association cannot ensure the safety of individuals who enter these areas, and doing so may increase the risk of injury.

The Board of Directors appreciates the community’s cooperation in helping reduce potential hazards and protecting the safety of all residents.

Killearn Toys for Tots Drive - Now Underway until Dec. 5th

The holiday season is here, and Killearn is proud to partner with Toys for Tots to help bring joy to children in need across our local community.

From now through December 5th, 2025, we’ll be collecting new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages. Collection boxes will be located at the KHA office, 2705 Killarney Way, Tallahassee, FL 32309.

For those unfamiliar, Toys for Tots, founded by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, distributes toys to less fortunate children in our area—ensuring that every child experiences the magic of the holidays, regardless of circumstance. Every toy you give stays right here in Leon County, supporting local families.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, Killearn has consistently been recognized as one of the largest community contributors to the local Toys for Tots campaign. The toys have already started to come in. Let's continue that tradition of kindness and make this year another record-breaking success!

Thank you for helping us share the holiday spirit and make a meaningful difference for children in our community.
