Honors medallion awardees completed the University Honors Program or Honors in the Major Program. Those who completed both programs with a 3.9 cumulative GPA or higher received the designation of Outstanding Senior Scholar.

Congrats to Debajyoti Sinha, who was recently featured in Florida State University's May 2026 Faculty and Staff Briefs!

Sinha — the Ron and Carolyn Hobbs Endowed Professor of Statistics — was elected a fellow of the International Society for Bayesian Analysis in recognition of his significant contributions in promoting Bayesian ideas and methods in society, through scientific works and other activities. The honor will be announced at the annual ISBA banquet in Nagoya, Japan.

The 12th annual Art in STEM event kicks off TOMORROW at Florida State University's Dirac Science Library! 🧪🎨

This year's exhibition features 30 artworks created by students studying environmental science, geology, microscopic biology, neuroscience, physical chemistry, astrophysics, ecology, chemical engineering and more.

The opening reception will take place tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and you can vote in person or online for your favorite piece. The people’s choice award winner will be announced the following day.
