Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency administers projects funded by the one-cent sales tax collected in Leon County.

For more than 20 years, and under direction from the Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency Board of Directors (IA Board), the Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency (Blueprint) has been charged with implementing major infrastructure projects across the community providing numerous benefits for residents and visitors which positively

impact our quality of life, natural environment and economic vitality. The IA Board, comprised of the City and County Commissions sitting as one body, provides direction to Blueprint and OEV. Both divisions are administered by the Intergovernmental Management Team – the County Administrator and the City Manager.

Today Blueprint, the City of Tallahassee, and Leon County celebrated the groundbreaking for a new neighborhood park! Construction will begin soon, marking another step in expanding Tallahassee-Leon County’s park system.

What began as a two-lane rural road has been transformed into a safer and more accessible Capital Circle Southeast. The expansion to six lanes includes dedicated bike lanes, multiuse trail, sidewalks, and improvements for stormwater management, making this project a significant advancement for both safety and mobility.

The beautifully landscaped medians and park-like setting enhance the experience for drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists while preserving the natural environment. Blueprint is dedicated to building roads that not only address today's needs but also contribute to a safer community for years to come.

Together, through the one-cent sales tax, we are improving infrastructure for a brighter and safer Tallahassee-Leon County!

Blueprint is enhancing connectivity in Tallahassee-Leon County through the Lake Jackson Greenway Project. This initiative aims to improve mobility and accessibility for pedestrians and cyclists by establishing a 5.1-mile connection between the Lake Ella and Lake Jackson Mounds Archaeological State Park. Currently, construction of sidewalks in the Glenview Drive area is underway, addressing local sidewalk priorities. This effort supports safer and more accessible routes throughout our community.
