My office is hiring a City Commission Aide!

Do you love Tallahassee? Have an interest in local government?

The role includes managing internal and external communications, social media, and public engagement; building strong community relationships and responding to constituent concerns and helping residents navigate City issues with warmth and kindness; coordinating my calendar, meetings, speaking engagements, and community events; conducting policy research and preparing briefing materials; and managing the day to day office operations.

I’m looking for someone who is enthusiastic about making Tallahassee a better place for all residents, is organized, takes initiative, is an extremely strong writer, humble and willing to learn, and can manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must be available to work weekday evenings and some weekends.

This is a full-time position with benefits reporting directly to me. Pay is competitive.
