As part of Tallahassee Senior Services' annual Lifelong Learning Extravaganza (L3X), FAMU faculty members Dr. Longineu Parsons (trumpet) and wife Dr. Joanna Sobkowska (piano) performed together as Duo Paloma, exploring jazz and classical genres and reflecting on the universality of music. As part of Tallahassee Senior Services' annual Lifelong Learning Extravaganza (L3X), Amanda Karioth Thompson led a tour along the History and Culture Trail, located along FAMU Way and the Capital Cascades Trail, where local history is artistically portrayed and honored through various works and mediums.

You can take your own walking tour of the area, using the information panels as a guide. We'd recommend starting near Cascades Park or Lake Anita and heading west toward Lake Bradford Road. Enjoy!

Tallahassee Senior Services kicked off its annual Lifelong Learning Extravaganza (L3X) with a presentation of Shakespeare Man, presented by the Southern Shakespeare Company. The actors brought these words of yore to life, showing how Shakespeare is still relevant in our modern times.
