Today community volunteers gathered to plant vegetable seeds and seedlings in the Upper Susitna Food Pantry Community Garden. This garden is dedicated to growing food that will feed families across our community.

We are grateful to Church on the Rock for providing the space for our community garden as well as to the Alaska Community Foundation, Jessica Steven’s Community Foundation and Mat-Su Health Foundation for their support of this project.

Thank you to everyone who generously donated their time to help get the garden planted. Working together we can improve food security for our communities!

This event is a great way to help support the Willow Community Food Pantry!

Hey Willow Community!

Our annual parcel post auction is just over a month away. Help support our community by marking May 28th on your calendar to attend the live auction. We have two professional auctioneers coming who will keep you laughing and entertained all evening long. If you cannot attend in person, you can still support us by bringing your gifts (woodworking projects, paintings, or any handmade local treasures) to be auctioned off. We hope to share a very special evening filled with love and generosity.

We are very grateful to North Fork Auto for stepping up and fixing the flat tire on the little van this week. Thanks to their fast service we were able to get back on the road and complete our senior deliveries for the day. Thank you!

Let’s all get out for a day of fun in Palmer on May 16, from 4-6pm, with food, bake sales, face painting, a silent auction & of course, a piñata 🪅!

Put together by Knik House & Blood n Fire, this event not only assures a community gathering of good times, but will benefit both organizations to better help our neighbors.
