🌟🥳TMS Talent Show + PTS Mascot Showdown!

We packed two big events into one day as our talented students (and even a few staff members) sang, danced, and performed, followed by a wild dance-off between the five district mascots. Who won? Watch to find out.

🍎 Phoenix-Talent Summer Meals program returns! ☀️

Phoenix-Talent School District and Sodexo are offering FREE breakfast and lunch for all children ages 18 and under again this summer.

📍 Phoenix Elementary
📍 Talent Elementary
📍 Phoenix High School

🥣 Breakfast: 8:00–9:00 a.m. (PHS: 8:00–8:30 a.m.)
🍽️ Lunch: 11:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m.

No registration required. Meals must be eaten on site.

🥰🎓It's easy to see why this is one of our favorite traditions. Building relationships is so important to what we do, so seeing all these smiles and hugs and tears is a great gift. We love these kids! 🌟Bulldogs to Pirates🌟

Today was a special day at Phoenix High because this was the day that Talent Middle School's 8th graders - aka next year's freshman class - visited PHS for a quick introduction, a scavenger hunt tour, and some fun and games.

😃PHS has a LOT to offer, and the leadership students helped give the 8th graders a preview of what to expect during pep assemblies. Students also set up tables in the small gym to showcase some of the clubs and sports. It's time to get excited, future Pirates!

🥚🚀 Another exciting STEAM project is underway at Talent Middle School! As part of this year’s STEAM science unit, Mr. Lynch’s students took on the classic Egg Drop Challenge yesterday — putting creativity, engineering, and problem-solving skills to the test. 📦🔬

Using materials like sponges, cotton balls, foam, rubber bands, and hot glue, students designed protective containers to help their eggs survive the big drop. One student was determined to protect “Eggward” (Edward from Twilight, of course). 👀🥚

So… did Eggward make it through the fall uncracked, or was it game over on impact? You’ll have to watch the video to find out! 🎥💥

Projects like these give students hands-on opportunities to think like engineers — designing, testing, revising, and learning through experimentation every step of the way. Great work, TMS scientists and innovators! 👏✨
