Precinct Official training starts next week! If you’d like to help your fellow Cherokee Countians exercise their right to vote, Precinct Official training is the first step. Officials are needed all across Oklahoma, and Cherokee County is no exception. If you’re interested, please give us a call and we’ll get you scheduled!

Sample ballots for the June 16, 2026, Primary Election are now available on the Oklahoma Voter Portal ( okvoterportal.okelections.us )

Here are a few important dates and deadlines:

May 22, 2026- Voter Registration Deadline

June 1, 2026- Absentee Ballot request deadline

June 11,12,13, 2026- Early Voting. This will be held at the Cherokee County Election Board

June 16, 2026, Election Day

We are also conducting Precinct Official training May 18-29 (excluding Memorial Day). Officials attend a one day class and are certified to work elections for 2 years. If you’re interested, please contact our office at 918-456-2261. We’d love to have you!

No numbers to report for Day 2 of Early Voting as we had no voters today. The next chance voters registered in the below listed school districts will have to cast their ballot will be on Election Day, Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Election Day voting is conducted at the Polling Places; no Election Day voting at the Election Board.

*** No new filings for County Offices.
*** We had one (1) early voter today.

Filing for County Offices will continue tomorrow from 8am-5pm.

Early voting for the April 7, 2026 school elections will be from 8am-6pm. The following school districts are involved:
