Earl Von Harrell, born May 19, 1975, in Killeen, Texas. He passed away on August 14, 2026, at 51 years old. He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Lavon Harrell; his devoted mother, Helen Harrell; and his brother, Ronald T. Harrell.
Earl was a loving father, grandfather, brother, Army veteran, uncle, and friend. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, stubbornness, sarcasm, and a personality that was impossible to forget.
He is survived by his sister, Alberta Oates and brother in law Vince Oates, and his children, Randy Harrell and wife Kayte, and Madysen Harrell.
Earl’s greatest joy was his granddaughter, Oaklynn Harrell, who brought him endless pride and gave him yet another person to spoil, tease, and probably embarrass.
Earl was a retired Army veteran, who proudly served his country. When he wasn’t serving or sharing his unsolicited opinions, he could often be found indulging in his passion for the outdoors, whether it was hunting or fishing.
Earl was the wild child of the family and had absolutely no intention of changing. He had no filter, was stubborn as stubborn could be. He was sarcastic, blunt, and never one to hold back.
For Earl, picking on you, calling you a name, or pointing out your biggest insecurity wasn’t an insult—it was his way of saying “I love you.”
He had a way of making people laugh, shake their heads, and occasionally wonder why they continued answering his phone calls. But underneath the sarcasm and stubbornness was a man who loved his family in his own unmistakable way.
Earl will be remembered for his military service, his love of hunting and fishing, his love of racing, mechanics, his stubborn streaks, his sharp tongue, his wild spirit, and most of all, the way he made sure nobody around him was ever left wondering what he was thinking.
A graveside service celebrating Earl’s life will be held at Fort Gibson Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, on August 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
In true Earl fashion, he would probably prefer that everyone skip the long, sad faces, tell a few stories, laugh at his expense, and remember him exactly as he was—stubborn, sarcastic, unfiltered, and loved.

Obituary
James Andrew Hammer, 76, a resident of Greenland, Arkansas, passed away Monday, June 8, 2026 at the Circle of Life Hospice Home. He was born April 27, 1950 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the son of Jimmie and Ida Mae (Watt) Hammer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jason Hulse and five siblings, Lonnie Hammer, Larry Hammer, Edward Hammer, Wanda Hammer, and Shirley Stroud.

He is survived by his wife Janet Hammer; one son, James Hulse; five grandchildren, Delaney Hulse, Dylon Hulse (Kyla), Denver Hulse, Michael Lindsey, and Lillie Moon (Maverick); two great-grandchildren, Tatum Hulse and Josie Hulse; and five siblings, Steve Hammer (Melva), John Hammer, Jimmie Hammer (Brenda), Terry Hammer, and Mary Hammer-Neal (Bedford).

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM at the Three Crosses Cowboy Church.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 10th, 2026, at Three Crosses Cowboy Church in Westville, Oklahoma. Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
