Nice hot summer day to go out in the field with my field appraisers. ☀️We were visually inspecting properties this morning over on Lisa Ann Drive and part of Graham St. in Tahlequah. So if you saw a white Ford F-150 marked Cherokee County Assessor, this was us out working to update our records with new photos, to see if anything new was added since our last inspection or torn down or damaged.

Cherokee County Courthouse will be closed tomorrow July 3rd in observance of July 4th holiday! Regular business hours resume Monday July 6th.

But on a more serious note, as Memorial Day approaches, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we enjoy the freedoms and opportunities we often take for granted.

From all of us in the Treasurer’s Office, we are thankful for those we remember this Memorial Day and for the families who carry their legacy forward. ❤️🤍
