Tahlequah First UMC is honored to host a community dinner and Bingo night in support of the Point-in-Time (PIT) Count, led by the Tahlequah Resource Outreach Team (TROT). This is the most accurate flyer for this event as of 1/6/25.

This evening is specifically for individuals who are unhoused or at risk of becoming unhoused. Guests will enjoy a free meal, Bingo, blessing bags, and the opportunity to participate in the PIT Count interview. Those who complete interviews will be eligible for prizes, including assorted gift cards.

The PIT Count helps our community better understand real needs so we can connect people with resources during the event and long after. When we show up together, we take real steps toward a Tahlequah where everyone has support, dignity, and the opportunity to thrive.

Please share this post widely with anyone who may be unhoused or lacking safe, adequate shelter. Your sharing helps ensure no one is overlooked. If you'd like to assist in sharing by handing out prints of this flyer, please visit our church office to receive these printed flyers.

🆘 WE NEED YOU — No one in our community should face freezing temperatures alone.

❄️As dangerous cold moves in, Tahlequah United Methodist Church, in partnership with the City of Tahlequah, is opening an Emergency Warming Shelter beginning Friday, January 23 at 5:00 PM, and remaining open through Tuesday, January 27 at 10:00 AM.

This is a moment where compassion becomes action — and we need help right now to ensure the doors stay open, warm, and fully supported.🫶

Our Quah Prevention and Recovery Center office will be closed today as we take time to honor Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

Our Wellbriety Talking Circle is canceled for today but will start back up next Monday at 10:30 AM.

Our regular office hours will resume tomorrow at 8:00am.
