Great news, Franklin families — we've extended the ticket deadline for Franklin Elementary Night at the Rainiers!

You now have until this Friday, May 22nd to grab your tickets for our fun afternoon of baseball on Sunday, June 14th.

Two ticket packages are available:
• Group Express — $18/person: Reserved seat + ballpark meal (hotdog, chips & water)
• Group Double Play — $28/person: Everything above, plus a limited edition Tacoma Rainiers hat!

Kids 3 and under are free on a parent's lap.

📣 Heads up: You may have seen mention of a Tacoma Public Schools Day at the Rainiers on May 27th. That is a separate district-wide event — our Franklin Night on June 14th is exclusively for Franklin families, and ticket sales directly benefit the Franklin PTSA. Two different days, two different causes — ours is all Franklin! 💙

Big thanks to Three Hearts Tacoma for providing these yummy, beautiful treats for our teachers today! The hardest part was choosing which one to grab.

🌲 Help Our 5th Graders Go to Camp! 🌲

Fifth grade camp is such a special milestone—one that helps students build independence, deepen friendships, and create memories that last well beyond elementary school.

As a school community, we believe every 5th grader should have the chance to attend, regardless of financial circumstances. In past years, outdoor education grants helped make this possible, but unfortunately, those grants are no longer available.

This year, we’re working together to raise $1,000 to ensure all students can participate by helping cover costs and providing scholarships for families who need support.

Congratulations to Ben Schwarz, a Teacher at Franklin Elementary School! Ben is a 2026 Whole Child Champion who always helps students have positive relationships.

Thanks to everyone who joined us at Chuck E Cheese tonight! We had a blast, and raised lots of money that will come right back to Franklin students and teachers! Let’s do it again next year!

Reminder - the Chuck E Cheese Takeover is TONIGHT!

You can go anytime between 3pm-9pm. Make sure to say you are there with Franklin Elementary, and the PTSA will get 20% of all your purchases.

A flyer with discount coupons should have been sent home with your child. You do not need to bring this flyer to get the 20% to Franklin (for that, you just need to tell them you are with us), but you do need to bring it if you want the discounts!
