I am a 23 year resident of Tacoma and a dedicated advocate for the Lincoln District. I have worked as a real estate broker since 2004 and have worked part-time in community development consulting and home staging/design services for over 10 years. I've often thought I may have missed my calling in journalism. You guys. I know it’s been awhile.

We’re trying and there are a lot hurdles regarding commercial fire and food service.

The good news: we are finally at a place where we can start demo and clean out. We have water and power back.

The not so good: still waiting on insurance. Still waiting for the roof. And there’s a long line of inspections from a long line of agencies coming down even after that. None of this is going to happen quickly.

What this means: you will be seeing a lot of action as you drive by. We ARE working to get open and although there is still a long road ahead, we can now see the path.
