Last week, we partnered with Riverside Fire & Rescue and Puyallup Tribe of Indians to conduct a “Scenes of Violence” training exercise to help local first responders prepare for the World Cup 26™ Puyallup Tribe of Indians Fan Zone.

Rescue Task Force teams practiced triaging, treating, and transporting mock patients and helping bystanders get to safety during an active shooter scenario.

Special thanks to the volunteers from the Pierce County Medical Reserve Corps!

In addition to the vital training, Riverside Fire received five ballistic vests and plates, five tactical helmets, and specialized medical response bags through federal grant funding.

Thank you, Riverside Fire, Puyallup Tribal Police, and Security teams for helping to keep everyone safe during World Cup, and every day!

Visiting our area for a match, watch party or local event?

International visitors may know a different emergency number at home. Here in the U.S., the number to remember is 911.

For police, fire, or medical emergencies, call 911.

A voice call is the best way to reach help, especially for international visitors. Text to 911 may not work reliably with international phones, roaming service, Wi-Fi calling, or messaging apps.

WhatsApp and other messaging apps do not connect to 911.

Need an interpreter? Say the language needed, and one can be added to the call.

Help is available 24/7.
