140 detainees on hunger strike at the NWDC. How will those of us on the outside step up to match the commitment and dedication of those brave enough to refuse meals while incurring retaliation from ICE and GEO group? Do we beg politicians ro intervene and shout hollow slogans like "ICE Out!" And "Shut it down" without any action to back it up? Or do we put in the hard work of building strong relationships with families whose loved ones are detained, bring them up as leaders in the fight, and target the weak points in the deportation machine's infrastructure?

Thanks so much to those who came to support Ezequiel's family today! We got amazing news that his Habeaus petition was approved so he'll be coming home very soon! But the fight is far from over, his case will still be ongoing and the people he's connected with on the inside deserve our support as well as our dedication to shutting down the NWDC and preventing ICE from expanding its footprint in Western, WA.

But right now his family is just over the moon to have him coming home. For those looking to support Ez, we'll be organizing a benefit show to raise funds for his bond so stay tuned!

Since he was detained by ICE in June, Ezequiel has helped other detainees translate documents and advocated on behalf of those in need of medical care. in retaliation for his advocacy, geo group camp guards have falsely alleged that he has gang-related tattoos and are threatening to move him to the maximum security unit. Ezequiel is a threat to no one. Call the NWDC now and demand that they end their retaliation and harassment of Ezequiel immediately!

On Sat 6/27 Dare to Struggle Seattle took to the streets and marched on the new ICE field office thats opened up in Tukwila. We spoke our bitterness, exposed the horrors of the mass deportation machine, and deliver a People's Eviction Notice to Sabey corp to terminate their lease with DHS immediately.

This is just the beginning of our fight to run ICE out of tukwila. We stand with the brave hunger strikers in ICE death camps all across this country and amplify their demands for freedom.
