The K-State College of Agriculture SWREC Field Day Plus is coming up Aug. 21 in Garden City — your chance to see local research in action and hear directly from producers who are making water-smart decisions for the future of farming in western Kansas.
Here’s what’s on the agenda:
🌾 Morning research plot tours on w**d control, no-till wheat-sorghum-fallow systems, forage crops, cotton growth, and sustainable irrigation technology.
💧 Water-focused producer panel after lunch — real talk on conservation tools, crop decisions, and farm economics from producers in our region.
