Today, we remember September 11, 2001 — a day that forever changed our nation.

We remember the 2,977 innocent lives lost and the countless families and communities forever impacted.

We especially honor the 343 members of the FDNY, along with the police officers, EMS personnel, military members, and countless other first responders who ran toward danger while others were running away.

Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication serve as a lasting reminder of what it means to answer the call.

🚒 343 brothers and sisters. Never forgotten.

From all of us at Lyncourt Fire Department, we ask our community to take a moment today to remember those who were lost, honor those who served, and never forget the sacrifices made that day.

The Lyncourt Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank everyone who attended our 80th Anniversary Celebration yesterday! It means so much that everyone came to enjoy the day with us.

We would also like to thank all of our donators who made this event possible.

Congratulations to Elbridge Fire Department for winning 1st place in 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 in in our push ball tournament!

80th Anniversary Raffle Winners

🚨🚨🚨IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OUR EVENT TOMORROW FOR ROAD CLOSURES AND PARKING🚨🚨🚨

We apologize for the delay in announcing this, but we just received the permit.

TOMORROW August 1st, starting at 12pm Court St will be shut down from Brookland Dr to Lyncourt Dr. you will be able to turn down Brookland and Lyncourt Dr. The closure will last until the end of our push ball tournament.

HANDICAP PARKING:
Handicap parking will be located on the west side of our building closest to the eye care. There will be a member with a golf cart for those who are unable to use the stairs in our building to get downstairs.

ALL OTHER PARKING:
Please utilize the Eyecare of CNY parking lot to park in next to the fire house. All over flow parking will be at the medical center across the street as highlighted on the map.

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

Along with all the great activities and raffles being offered, a lot of our partnering agencies will also be there, including:

Emergency management will have their mobile command center with their tethered drone on show. They will also be bringing the SHERP for show.

AMR.

All of our trucks will also be on show, and available to sit in.
