The NWS has recently updated their posting policies and reserves the right to hide/delete postings that are inconsistent with them. Therefore, it is our policy to hide/delete any post/comment that:

Above normal temperatures and drier than normal conditions are favored for June across the Great Lakes. We may get periodic episodes of more active weather or cooler temperatures, but the overall pattern is favored to be warm and dry to start meteorological summer.

Given the stagnant pattern we’re in, temperatures don’t change too much over the next few days. The one exception is Saturday as a backdoor cold front pushes through Friday night into early Saturday providing cooler air. We warm back up to normal or maybe slightly above normal for Monday.

Those planning to visit Southeast Lake Michigan beaches today should stay off of the pier and stay out of the water! Heed any warnings from lifeguards! Northeast winds will create strong structural and longshore currents on the north side of piers.
