SCSD After School Enrichment Programs
Location: Ed Smith, Webster, Clary, Dr. Weeks, Frazier, and Huntington Schools

Comprehensive programs and services for older adults 60+ such as transportation, meals, depends brief bank, activities, learning experiences, exercise, referrals and more. Employment and skills training services are offered at Westcott CC. Basic Needs Pantry with food, toiletries, and hygiene supplies. Community Health Advocacy Program utilizes fresh foods, education, case management services, and outreach to provide an integrated approach to health outcomes for community members. High School Equivalency classes

Time: Every Thursday from 5:00-6:30pm, first come first served. As this is a walk-in service, appointments are unavailable. Free Community WiFi in and around our building

Spectrum Learning Lab holds monthly digital literacy and job readiness workshops. Syracuse Eastside Neighborhood Farmers’ Market.

Meet Fatna Mohamed! Originally from Sudan, she is our featured chef this Friday. She will be making a fufu with tilapia fish. Fatna says her grandma makes the best fufu and hopes to honor her with this dish.
Place your order from our website, click on Westcott Takeout and schedule for pickup Friday at Westcott Community Center

The vegan option is a Vietnamese curry with tofu, green beans, and carrots stewed in lemongrass, coconut milk. We will also have Buthaina’s Syrian cookies!
Please order by Wednesday so we can plan accordingly. We will not turn anyone away for walk up orders but help us be efficient by ordering early.

We’re honored to support Mama Hai & Friends by hosting their takeout every Friday from 5–7 PM at our center!

Each week, we’ll welcome a new refugee chef who is excited to share their food, culture, and culinary talents with our community. It’s a wonderful opportunity to discover new flavors, support emerging chefs, and enjoy a delicious Friday night meal. ❤️
