Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage of the first responders, survivors, service members, and countless individuals whose lives were forever changed.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to reflect on the compassion, courage, and unity shown in the days that followed.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Building more than a ramp. Building access, independence, and community. 🔨

Ovn August 25th and 26th, dedicated Indera team members volunteered more than 16 hours to help a community member in Fulton safely enter and exit their home and continue living independently in their community.

On day one, the team built the ramp sections and platform. On day two, they brought everything onsite and assembled the completed ramp. Every measurement, board, and helping hand brought this project one step closer to changing someone’s daily life.

We are incredibly grateful to our team members who generously shared their time, talents, and energy. Your dedication is a powerful reminder of what is possible when we work together to create a more accessible and inclusive community.

🏈 A standing frame fit for a Buffalo Bills fan!

A participant in Indera’s Adaptive Design program recently received this one-of-a-kind Buffalo Bills themed standing frame, designed and built by our talented Adaptive Design team.

By combining creativity, collaboration, and individualized support, our team creates customized equipment that helps people participate more fully and comfortably in the activities they enjoy.

Indera Educational Advocacy is offering “Teaching Your Kids to Read (and Enjoy It!),” a free six-part K–12 literacy workshop series for parents and caregivers. Attend in person at 635 James Street in Syracuse or join virtually through Zoom.

🎨 Accessing the arts should be possible for everyone!

Join AccessCNY’s Systems of Care program and the Redhouse Arts Center for a virtual Family Engagement Event exploring inclusive arts opportunities for students of all abilities.

Participants will learn about Redhouse’s arts access programs, the partnerships and practices that help remove barriers to participation, and the power of inclusive arts experiences to strengthen individuals and communities.
