Greetings Friends and Supporters:

Thank you for your ongoing support of Black Men United and our Founder and Visionary JahQuan Bey-Wright. It is with hearts of anticipation that we share with you JahQuan is currently battling COVID-19 and has been on life support in the ICU for nearly a month.

The anticipation in our hearts is grounded in our sincere belief in the power of prayer and that JahQuan will return to us even stronger and more determined than before. As a family, BMU has been praying incessantly for his complete and swift healing. We ask that you lift his name in prayer and his family as well.

We also believe in the power of collective giving. While JahQuan will have all the emotional and physical support he needs when he returns home, he will likely be unable to return to his full time job for some time. His family has established a GoFundMe account for his medical and living expenses to help offset any unnecessary stress on him when he returns home.

Both collective prayer and collective giving are powerful tools in ushering in our Brother's complete healing and return to a full life. We thank you in advance for all of your words of support toward him and our organization since October. We ask that you now put those words into action through your prayers and donations. If each of us does a little, we can impact A LOT.

Thank you again for all of your support. We are leaning on you all now to continue that support as we fight with him and his family. May God bless each and every one of you.
