🎉 Staff Spotlight 🎉

Elementary School recognizes two outstanding staff members each month, and in May, staff proudly recognized Ms. Sadler for her exceptional teamwork!

As a new member of the SAS family and a 2nd Grade Teacher Partner, Ms. Sadler has made a tremendous impact in a short amount of time. Her colleagues shared that she has built strong relationships with her , developed excellent classroom management skills, and seamlessly integrated into our school community.

Peers describe Ms. Sadler as someone who is always willing to learn, collaborate, and lend a helping hand whenever needed. They have witnessed countless positive and caring interactions between her and her students, highlighting her dedication to their success and well-being.

🌟 Field Trip Friday: Life on the Farm Edition

1st graders had an unforgettable adventure at in Cazenovia!

enjoyed meeting and petting farm animals before taking turns riding Chester, the horse owned by our very own Mrs. Goyer. From start to finish, there were smiles all around as students learned more about animals in a fun, hands-on environment.

A special thank you to Mrs. Goyer for sharing her love of horses and helping create such a memorable experience for our scholars. It was a field trip filled with learning, excitement, and plenty of happy memories! 💙⚛️

Elementary School would like to give a special shout-out to Mrs. Hamilton for an incredible accomplishment! This year, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education while working full-time and welcoming a new addition to her family during maternity leave.

Her dedication, perseverance, and commitment to education are truly inspiring. We are incredibly proud of all she has achieved this school year and look forward to seeing the positive impact she will continue to make in the lives of our .

High School students in Mrs. Bornot’s Spanish 3 class recently stepped into the role of restaurant guests and staff as they practiced their conversational Spanish skills through a fun breakfast restaurant role-play activity! 🥐☕🇪🇸

The ordered meals, greeted customers, and held conversations entirely in Spanish while experiencing what it’s like to dine in a Spanish-speaking restaurant. Activities like this help bring language learning to life while building confidence in speaking and listening skills!

Middle School Atom Duncan officially cashed them in to become Teacher’s Assistant for the day!

From helping classmates to handling business like a pro, Duncan showed exactly why he
