📬✨ The Bright Futures Youth Group from the County South Family Resource Center took a trip to the Tully Post Office as part of our career exploration journey! 🚚📦

We received a tour of the building, and clerk Derek explained how the entire operation works from start to finish. The students were amazed to learn about some of the unique items that pass through our local Post Office, including 🐝 bees, 🐭 mice, 🦜 large birds, and even 🥥 coconuts from Hawaii that can be mailed without packaging, just add postage!

After the tour, we talked about the many careers connected to the postal service, from mail carriers 📬 and mechanics 🔧 to graphic designers 🎨 who create logos and materials. The possibilities are endless! 🌟

This year, our Big Brothers Big Sisters Program is focusing on empowering youth through civic engagement. Littles and Bigs are learning the importance of helping others, showing kindness and respect, and caring for the world around them. 💙🌟

Earlier this month, several Bigs and Littles volunteered with We Rise Above The Streets Recovery Outreach Inc. during their Sandwich Saturday event. Together, they assembled sandwiches, packed lunch bags, and helped distribute meals to community members. 🤝🥪

It was a fun, hands-on learning experience that showed our Littles how even small acts of service can make a big difference. Thank you to our Bigs for leading by example and inspiring the next generation of caring community leaders! 👏 ✨
