Congratulations, Coach Petties!

Congratulations are in order for Syracuse East Girls Flag Football team and Head Coach Jeff Petties!

Coach Petties (pictured in the back left, wearing a hat) was named the week 2 NYS Flag Football Coach of the Week and will be honored this weekend at halftime of the sold-out Buffalo Bills preseason game. He'll also coach an exhibition flag game at halftime, featuring three of our own Syracuse East players: Nottingham High School senior Georgelyz Pizarro-Santiago, Henninger High School senior Legacy Huggins and Henninger junior Ca’Meyle Martin. Please join us in congratulating this group for their hard work and dedication!

Hello again, Ed Smith families. Although the district provides all of the school supplies needed for your child outside of special requests, our Ed Smith staff wanted me to remind you that often those resources need replenishing mid-school year. If you are able to pick up some extra pencils, or crayons, etc. no teacher would refuse your generosity. You could keep them at home for your child to bring to school after Winter Break or teachers could keep them in their classrooms for use as needed.
