He was born and raised in Syracuse, New York to the parents of Delores (Kearse) Dixie & Walter Dixie. Walt is product of Syracuse public schools and a graduate of Ithaca College. He has two daughters and four grandchildren. He has been the Executive Director of Jubilee Homes of Syracuse, Inc. (www.jubilee-homes.org) since 1987 and a Residential Counselor at Access CNY, Inc. Walt is the founder of

the Alliance Network (est. in 1996), a group of local leaders, businesspeople, activist and concerned citizens that played a major role in endorsing candidates in Central New York. He is also the Founder and past President of the Syracuse Chapter of the National Action Network that was established by Rev. Walt works hard to share his vision for running for office and how he can contribute to addressing key issues in the city of Syracuse. He looks forward meeting you soon.
