Syosset Fire Department was alerted for a mutual aid to our neighboring department of East Norwich for an engine. Members of Engine Company 5 responded and assisted as the second due engine and assisted in knocking down a car fire that extended to a private residence. No one was injured and companies were able to knock down the fire along with other neighboring departments.
