The award winning Ascent Youth Alliance to Battle Autism (and its recently created BULLDOGGOALS4AUTISM & BULLDOGSAVES4AUTISM), a program of the Ascent Funding Organization, a 501C non-profit, once featured on WABC-TV and honored by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Nassau BOCES, the New York International Independent Film Festival and the Nassau County Legislature, has helped raise ove

BULLDOGGOALS4AUTISM & BULLDOGSAVES4AUTISM not only (a) promotes awareness, tolerance and acceptance and (b) raises money for the education and social skill enhancement for children with autism, but also provides a platform:
(a) where “typical kids” impact their own lives as well as those with autism by learning that whether by themselves or in a group, they can make a difference;
(b) to educate its student volunteers as to why those with autism act in the manner in which they do-which will help our fellow youth better understand and have compassion for those with autism and other disabilities; and
(c) where its small army of student volunteers perform easy, fun and rewarding community service tied into sports, while receiving great perks and an “executive” type title to be proudly displayed on their college application and/or future job resume.
