We thank our Vietnam Veteran's for the honor and sacrifices!
🇺🇲🇺🇲WELCOME HOME🇺🇲🇺🇲

National Vietnam War Veterans Day, observed annually on March 29, honors the over 58,000 U.S. service members killed and many more wounded during the 8-year conflict. As America approaches its 250th birthday, this day commemorates veterans who served between 1955 and 1975, acknowledging their bravery and sacrifices often overlooked upon their return home.

Key Aspects of the Vietnam War Commemoration:
National Vietnam War Veterans Day: Designated by the 2017 Veterans Recognition Act, March 29 marks the date in 1973 when the last U.S. combat troops left South Vietnam and POWs returned.
Honoring Service: The day focuses on honoring all who served on active duty during the period, acknowledging their sacrifices in a challenging war.
Context within 250 Years: As the U.S. celebrates its 250th anniversary, the Vietnam War is recognized as a pivotal and challenging chapter in the nation’s history.
Veterans' Legacy: Many Vietnam veterans, who were often not welcomed upon their return, are now receiving the gratitude they earned, emphasizing the importance of not abandoning those who served.
Commemorative Acts: Displays of the U.S. flag are encouraged on March 29 to honor the warriors who endured extreme conditions.
