I have spent the last three days learning about municipal governance. The league of municipalities hosted their annual conference in Montgomery and I was the only one who attended. It was a wealth of information and I have met some wonderful other municipal leaders from all over our great state. You want to know a few things that were said about our city?!
“You have such a pretty downtown “
“Oh we love the marble festival “
“Oh I hear good things are coming to sylacauga “

It’s always nice to hear good things about our city. Yes we have lots to do but we have a good foundation to work from. Join us and get involved. We have openings for several boards in our community and it’s time for some new faces to step up and help us move our city forward. Private message me if you want more information.

Here is the agenda for tomorrow nights work session and city council meeting. Work sessions start promptly at 5:00 pm and city council follows immediately. If you have anything that needs to be brought in front of the mayor city council or you want our citizens to know about it, you are given five minutes to speak at the end of the council meeting. This is scary!!! We need voter reconstruction in our state too!! Our voter rolls are full of dead people and People who live outside our area but they remain on our rolls. We need to take back our elections and clean up Alabama. No I do not think Wes Allen has done a good job!! Part of the swamp in Montgomery!! Democrat in sheep’s clothing!
