The State Sales Tax Holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026, and continues through midnight on Sunday, July 19, 2026.

During this tax-free weekend, eligible school supplies, clothing, computers, and other qualifying items may be purchased without paying state sales tax.

Whether you're stocking up on classroom essentials, updating your child's wardrobe, or purchasing a new computer for the school year, this is a great opportunity to save.

⚠️Memorial Day Garbage Pick-Up Reminder⚠️

Due to the Memorial Day holiday, GFL garbage pick-up will run a day behind next week only. Please see the adjusted schedule below:

Monday routes will be picked up on Tuesday.
Tuesday routes will be picked up on Wednesday.
Wednesday routes will be picked up on Thursday.
Thursday routes will be picked up on Friday.
Friday routes will be picked up on Saturday.

Disclaimer: Putting carts at the curb the evening before your actual pick-up day is recommended in the chance that garbage pick-up runs quicker than expected.
