🚒✂️ Congratulations to the Sycamore Fire Department on the official Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Celebration at Fire Station 1!

Community members, local officials, Chamber Ambassadors, and supporters gathered to celebrate this important investment in public safety and the future of Sycamore. During the ceremony, Fire Chief Mike Thomas and City of Sycamore, Illinois City Manager Michael Hall reflected on the years of planning, collaboration, and community support that made the new facility possible, while highlighting the positive impact it will have on emergency response and service for years to come.

We were also honored to welcome Senator Dave Syverson and State Representative Jeff Keicher to help celebrate this milestone. One of the most memorable moments of the day came when members of Project Fire Buddies assisted with the ceremonial hose decoupling, helping officially mark the opening of the new station.

Congratulations to the entire Sycamore Fire Department team on this exciting achievement and thank you for your continued dedication to serving our community!

This week we're spotlighting the KVAL nfp's Gallery on State, a creative hub in downtown Sycamore featuring rotating exhibits, local artists, classes, workshops, and opportunities to experience the arts year-round.

Today, participants visited several Chamber member businesses to hear firsthand about their entrepreneurial journeys, the challenges they've overcome, lessons they've learned, and what it takes to run a successful small business.
