The DeKalb County Treasurer's Office will be closed on Monday, May 25th, in honor of Memorial Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 26th, at 8:30 am.

A quick reminder that Mobile Home Local Services Taxes are due today, May 1st. We are accepting payments until 4:30 pm in our office (110 E. Sycamore St., Sycamore, IL 60178). DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, Illinois announce that, as of Friday, May 1st, 2026, the State of Illinois has designated State Route 23 from Perry Road to McGirr Road as the “Deputy Christina Musil Memorial Highway”.
Deputy Christina Musil was killed in a traffic crash on Route 23 south of Perry Road. She was hit from behind in her squad car and pronounced deceased shortly after midnight on March 29th, 2024. We will never forget you, Christina. And we will continue to honor you. 🌻
