The Town of Swink is accepting applications for two Public Works positions. We are looking for a full-time Director and also a full-time laborer. A CDL is required for the Director job. Swink offers competitive wages, complete medical insurance, paid vacation, and retirement benefits. UPDATE: everyone has water now AND the booster pumps are on so you can water your lawn with pressure 😃

Please be advised that water service will be temporarily shut off in the Reynolds and Kimble area due to a leak that requires immediate repair.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding while repairs are being completed.

We are experiencing problems with our trash collection system. We are working as fast as possible for a solution.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the trash routes have been delayed this week. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and are working to remedy the situation. Please be patient and know we are working to get back on schedule!

Due to a hydraulic break on the Town of Swink trash truck, trash will not be picked up today.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as repairs are being made. We will provide an update as soon as possible regarding the rescheduled pickup.

The Town of Swink office will be closed today to attend a funeral. Sorry for any inconveniences this may cause. The drop off slot is available 24/7.

Regular hours will resume on Tuesday.

Due to sickness.. your Tuesday trash may not of gotten picked up today. Should maintenance crew feel better they will get it on Wednesday (tomorrow 12/31).
If your trash doesn’t get picked up on Wednesday they will get it on Friday. The sickness has found the town employees once again. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Happy New Year!
