City offices will be closed Friday, June 19th in observance of the Juneteenth federal holiday. This includes City Hall, Police & Fire Administration offices, and SNAP. The Landfill & Recycling Center will also be closed Friday, but resume operation on Saturday. Republic will operate as normal with no impact to trash collection services.

🚨Scheduled Road Closure: Crews will be working to replace water lines on West Alabama from Throckmorton to Moody Street on Wednesday, June 17th. The road is expected to reopen by 9:00 p.m.

Please use caution and watch for crews in the area. Use an alternate route if possible.

REMINDER! The Municipal Pool will be closed for additional maintenance on Tuesday, June 16th. Normal hours will resume on Wednesday, June 17th. Thanks for your understanding!

Contractors are starting work on water line replacement projects this week. Over the next several weeks, you will see crews working to replace lines at the following locations:
-West Alabama from Murrah to Throckmorton and one block south on Throckmorton to West Louisiana
-East Arizona from Lamar to Campbell
Traffic may be restricted to one lane at times, so we ask you use caution and watch for crews in these areas over the next couple of months.

The Landfill will be closed tomorrow (June 9th) due to muddy conditions. We appreciate your patience as the grounds dry from the weekend storm.

After this weekends storm, our crews definitely worked some royal magic 😎👑☀️ The pool is open tomorrow from 1-6 pm.

Here are some photos of the pool after today’s storm. Wind damage and runoff have caused the pool to overflow, have mud, and shades to fall. Our crews will be working to get the pool reopened for everyone on Tuesday.
