Ms. Ashley’s 5th grade science classes have been exploring mixtures and solutions this past week! Students have been engaged in hands-on activities to investigate how different substances interact and to determine whether they form a mixture that can be easily separated or a solution in which the substances combine and require heat to separate.
Our young scientists are learning that science isn’t just something we read about—it’s something we can observe, test, and discover! 🧪

Grandparents’ Day is Coming!

We are so excited to celebrate the special grandparents and grandfriends who hold such an important place in the lives of our little Bulldogs!

Join us September 8–11 for lunch with your grandchild and a special visit to our Scholastic Book Fair in the library.

You will enter through the front on Mrs. Berry’s side.

SHS National Honor Society is kicking off their annual Dogs for a Cure service project. Order forms will be accepted through Thursday, Sept 10.

Forms will be delivered to the elementary to go home with each student and also dropped off at the junior high for students to pick up at the front office.

**Community Member orders can be dropped off at the SHS front office. Please include phone number for community member pickup.

Our service project donation is made to Sweeny Hospital Foundation - Mammo Project which provides mammograms for the uninsured and underinsured in our community.
