Update on our Blizzard of 2026 cat, Raggedy Andy who is not so Raggedy anymore! (his family likes to call him Andy Dandy now)The first photo is him now with all his months of TLC and the second photo was when he first arrived after that crazy blizzard we had and he was full of fear, mats and frost bite 😞. Look how regal he is now! His family has poured soo much love into him and truly it is so wholesome to see how much love can heal. Animals are so so deserving. Valentine would like to remind everyone she is still looking for a home to call her own. She does not understand why everyone wants kittens and not a lovely middle aged lady.

Valentine is a mix of sassy and sweet. She would most likely to best and enjoy being a one and only. While she does fairly well with our very easy going cats here at the shelter...we can just tell she would prefer to be the only pet in the home.

If you would like to meet this special green eyed lady, please call 508-679-6446 or email [email protected]

Meet Moose:
Moose was found wandering a local baseball field with a green collar and his name written in black marker. After days and days of posting his picture, it became clear he was abandoned on the park. He was so scared, running and barking. Luckily, one of our workers from the shelter was at the park w her grandkids and was able to safely catch him and bring him to the shelter. He has been with us for months, with no interest. He is that boy that does not show well on first meet, he takes time to get to know you...but once he does, you will have a friend for life. It will take multiple meet and greets for this boy to trust, so someone quiet, patient and loving would be great. He does not want to share his new home w any other pets...he is a one and only kinda guy!!! But rest assure, he will be more than enough to love. An adult only home, or a quiet home w older children may be best. We believe he did not receive much training in manners, so he will need someone to give him time to settle in, shelter stress is taking a toll on him. He will need time to decompress. Given time, patience and love, this boy will be an amazing best friend. If you are someone who likes a bit of a challenge, I dare you to come meet Moose. 508-679-6446 or email [email protected].

Animal rescue is all about community and supporting each other! These guys do great work helping the homeless cat population and are in dire need of equipment to keep their spay and neuter program going. Please share and spread the word and donate if you can 🐾🐈🐈‍⬛

This room should be active, productive, have a veterinarian, vet-techs and a cat. But instead its quiet, empty, and setting us back terribly.

🚨OUR SURGERY ROOM IS READY. OUR CATS ARE WAITING. BUT ONE CRITICAL PIECE OF EQUIPMENT HAS PUT OUR SURGERIES ON HOLD.🚨

Our autoclave is broken.

An autoclave sterilizes the surgical instruments our veterinarians use. Without it, we're limited to the number of pre-sterilized instrument packs we have available—and once those are used, surgeries have to stop.

And we're already seeing the impact:

💔 We had to cancel an entire surgery day this week.
💔 Our shelter cats are waiting longer for surgery—and longer to get to their forever homes.
💔 Our community cat spay/neuter waitlist is growing.
💔 Cats from other rescues and shelters are waiting for surgeries they desperately need.

Our old autoclave worked hard for us for years and helped make countless surgeries possible. But it has reached the end of its life.

🎯 WE NEED TO RAISE $8,000 FOR A NEW AUTOCLAVE.
We know—that's a HUGE ask. But this isn't something we can do without. A new autoclave will help us perform thousands of surgeries for cats in need for years to come.

More surgeries. More spays and neuters. More cats getting the care they need.

If you can donate, please help us get back to surgery. And if you can't, sharing this post could help us reach someone who can. 🐾❤️
