Celebrating our U.S. Army and the nation's flag on their day of the birth.

Today, we celebrate the birthday of the United States Army and honor the soldiers who have defended our nation since 1775.

From the Revolutionary War to today's missions around the globe, generations of Army soldiers have answered the call with an unwavering commitment to duty.

To all who have worn the Army uniform: thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Happy 251st Birthday, Army!

Today marks the 82nd anniversary of D-Day, a pivotal turning point in WWII.

Known as Operation Overlord, this daring sea & airborne invasion would be the largest in military history, with Allied Forces successfully capturing the beaches of Normandy & the surrounding countryside from occupying N**i Germany forces on June, 6th, 1944.

In honor of the heroes who fought valiantly & gave their lives on this day, let us take a moment to recognize their bravery & sacrifice 🇺🇸

Today we honor and remember those who died in service to our nation. A day without a parade does not change that fact. Remember the reason we gather and have this day.

Unfortunately, the weather has forced officials to cancel the Memorial Day Parade for tomorrow. Thank you to all who volunteer to march and cheer for our many participants.

Thank you Post Commander Harry Young for leading the town Memorial Day service at the Veterans Memorial Green earlier today. Our membership is grateful for all the presenters and people who turned out to pay respects to those who served our country and died following their commitment to our nation, its flag, and our armed forces.
