Employees representing the Town of Swansea via the Town’s social media sites must conduct themselves at all times as a representative of the Town in accordance with all Town policies. Comments may be monitored and may be subject to removal at the discretion of the Town of Swansea. Certain comments will not be permitted based on inappropriate comments containing, but not limited to, any of the following:

a. Comments not related to the original topic
b. Profane, obscene, violent or pornographic content and/or language
c. Content that promotes discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, or national origin
d. Defamatory or personal attacks
e. Threats
f. Comments relative to political campaigns
g. Solicitation
h. Violations of any federal, state or local law
i. Illegal activity

Any comments deemed to be a threat to any town officials, employees, citizens, local business etc. will be removed, the person posting the comment will be blocked/banned from this page at the Town's discretion, and may be subject for review by the appropriate authorities.

Today, the Town of Swansea pauses to remember September 11, 2001.
We honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families and loved ones who continue to carry their memories, and the countless first responders, military members, and ordinary citizens who showed extraordinary courage and compassion in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives, the bravery, and the spirit of unity that followed. As we reflect on that day and those we lost, please join us tonight at 6:00 PM at Swansea Fire Station 1 for a memorial service as we come together to honor their memory and pay tribute to the courage and sacrifice that will never be forgotten.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Town of Swansea Remains Committed to Supporting Local Toys for Tots Campaign: Town Administrator Mitchell F. Ruscitti wishes to clarify the Town's efforts to support the Bristol County Toys for Tots campaign and provide information regarding its proposed use of the Nike Site Road facility.

The Town of Swansea strongly supports Toys for Tots and the important work its volunteers perform for children and families. The Town has not canceled the toy drive or sought to prevent it from operating.
