Last Thursday we celebrated an incredible group of graduates who have earned Associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates at Beaufort County Community College! Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have truly paid off, and we could not be more proud of each and every one of you.

These accomplishments represent countless hours of commitment and determination, and we are excited to see all the amazing things your futures hold. Congratulations on this major achievement, your community is cheering you on every step of the way! 🎓💙

Graduates and families please read below!

Graduates, due to the forecast of impending rain, we are moving our graduation celebration indoors to ensure everyone stays safe and dry. Please read the following updates carefully, as they include changes to our rehearsal location and ceremony times/location.

Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal
• Date: Wednesday, May 6th
• Location: Washington High School (WHS) Auditorium
• Arrival Time: No later than 5:30 PM
• Important Ticket Update: During rehearsal, you will receive 4 NEW tickets for the graduation ceremony. Please note that the ORANGE tickets that you received are no longer valid and will not be accepted at the door. There will be a drawing for extra tickets that will be passed out at rehearsal.

Graduation Ceremony Schedule

Both ceremonies will take place on Thursday, May 7th, at the Washington High School Auditorium. Please note your specific time based on your program:

Arts and Sciences (PINK Ticket Required for Entry)
• Ceremony Time: 5:30 PM
• Line-up: Graduates, you must arrive at the WHS Gymnasium to line up for the processional no later than 4:45 PM.

Business, Technology, Public Services, and Allied Health (BLUE Ticket Required for Entry)
• Ceremony Time: 7:30 PM
• Line-up: You must arrive at the WHS Gymnasium for the processional no later than 6:45 PM.

All guests, including babies, must have a ticket for entry. Please note that the ORANGE tickets that you received are no longer valid and will not be accepted at the door.
We appreciate your flexibility and cooperation as we transition to our rain venue. We look forward to celebrating your incredible achievements with you this week!

Yesterday three of our students were recognized for being Honors graduates at BCCC. While two couldn’t make it, one of our students was able to attend. Congratulations to Jesse, Angel and Maggie for being our first BCCC honors graduates! We are so proud of you!

Getting hands-on and getting it done! 🔧 Nathanael and Brady put their skills to work today in welding class, working on the tractor bucket. There’s nothing better than seeing students apply what they’re learning in real, practical ways. Great job, guys! 👏

This is an incredible achievement and a testament to her hard work, dedication, and bright future ahead. We are so proud of all she has accomplished and can’t wait to see the amazing things she will continue to do.
