CHS Core Values were on full display during our first 10 days of school!

🦅 Ms. Bryant SHOWED UP for her students by demonstrating science lab safety protocol.
🦅 Mr. Foote and his horticulture students KEPT GOING by bringing the garden-to-table experience back to CHS for the first time since Helene. Students enjoyed fresh jalapeños on Nacho Day!
🦅 The media center LIFTED OTHERS UP by providing Quiet Lunch: A Fine Dining Experience the first two weeks of school. Many thanks to Ms. Bryant's first block for providing the containers, Mr. Foote's second block for helping cut and arrange the flowers, and to the Library Helpers for decorating the media center for this uplifting experience.

Owen district instructional coach Ms. Dunbar engaged CHS teachers with useful and impactful strategies, tools and ideas for effectively reaching each and every student. So grateful to have Ms. Brooke Hefner joining our office team at CHS!

This is my first time working in a school, and I couldn't be more excited to begin this new chapter! Previously, I worked at a large CPA firm downtown, where I worked closely with financial planning clients and gained valuable experience in organization, communication, and customer service. I also graduated with Highest Honors from AB Tech with an Associate of Applied Science in Office Administration. I'm grateful for the opportunities that have led me here, and I'm thrilled to be joining Community High School. I look forward to supporting our students, staff, and families and becoming part of such a wonderful school community!

✏️Thanks to our School Resource Officers and other friends from the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office helping to collect school supplies. Come visit them Saturday, Aug. 1 at the Wal-Mart on Airport Road in Arden as they pack the patrol car!
