Gentlemen...I am cancelling the battlefield cleanup day scheduled for tomorrow morning. There is not much to cut, due to the drought, only two patriots have stepped forward to volunteer, and several of us will be out of town for the Spring BOM and other events. National Park Cleanup Day will be rescheduled to the next scheduled cleanup day of May 30th. If we get some substantial rain, it may be sooner. I will keep you posted. I was able to “fill in” for John Derden yesterday at the Pages and Powder event held at the Franklin Memorial Library in Swainsboro. Only had enough people (6) for one talk, but it went very well. Also, talked about the improvements that have been and will be made to the battlefield.
