Seasonal Weight Restrictions UPDATE:

We have been carefully watching the forecast and weighing whether to implement Seasonal Weight and Speed reductions on County Roads under our jurisdiction. With careful consideration, we have decided to hold off on implementing restrictions at this time. The substantial change in the cooling of the forecast has made this possible. So, we will continue to monitor the forecast, as well as road conditions. It needs to be understood that a change in the forecast or road conditions may trigger implementation of restrictions with limited advance notice. In order to make this possible, we ask the trucking industry to evaluate the road conditions and if they notice signs of thawing, they should cease operations until the weather cools back down. Through everyone's cooperation, we will be able to do this. As it is our responsibility to protect the roads, we will have to do that if we feel the need arises.
