Flood Relief Supply Drive – Lewis County

The Flatwoods Community Volunteer Fire Department, in partnership with Encore: A Thrift Store in Gassaway, WV, is collecting donations to support flood relief efforts in Lewis County.

Donations may be dropped off at either the Flatwoods Community Volunteer Fire Department or Encore: A Thrift Store. All collected supplies will be transported to Lewis County on Saturday, July 25.

Every donation makes a difference. Please join us in supporting our neighbors and communities affected by the recent flooding. Together, we can help those in need.

We are so thankful for the support of Weyerhaeuser. Today they provided a full set of CPR mannequins, complete with infants, and AEDs. These will be used for continuous training and certification for our crew. We can also use these within the community, when we do training in our schools.
They are a great addition to our training equipment and were much needed. Thank you for investing in Braxton County EMS!!
Weyerharuser also provided lunch from one of our favorite local places, Stancatti's Pizza . You guys rock!
