We had a very productive beef meeting. The kids have done a great job with their steers! Did several practice rounds, walking and positioning them. Next meeting will be grooming.

The sheep and goat project met last week. Ella Grace did a presentation on goat anatomy while Ellie and Judah did a presentation on their experience at the YGB clinic in Reno. They also weighed and practiced showmanship. ❤️ 🍀

Lake 4-H is having an opportunity drawing for half a hog cut and wrapped. Drawing will be held June 3, 2026. Please contact us if you are interested in tickets. A HUGE thank you to Rocky Rodriguez for donating the hog. 🐷

Just a reminder to make sure all Lassen County fair exhibitors are either completing their mandatory YQCA requirement on-line or that they are registered for the in-person training for Tuesday, April 21st, at 6:00 pm in Jensen Hall. All livestock exhibitors – market and breeding- are required to turn in their completion certificate with their fair entry with the exception of those exhibiting dogs, cavies, or horses.
