Reminder, the deadline to pay Personal Property and Real Estate taxes is Monday, December 6, 2021. Taxes can be paid with cash, credit or debit cards, and checks.

For those that have paid taxes using the E-Check option, payments have been received. We have submitted the files to the bank but the format needs adjusting so the bank can accept the file. We are working with both our software team and the bank so those files will be processed soon.

If you want to avoid waiting in line to make your payment in the office please utilize our online payment options or the drop box.

If the payment is being mailed, the envelope must be stamped for the 6th by the post office to avoid late fees. If the postmark from the post office is after December 6th, late fees will be assessed. A postage meter used in the office does not qualify as a valid postmark as those dates can be manipulated.

Staff in the Treasurer's Office is taking every precaution in keeping the citizens and themselves safe as we continue to face challenges due to Covid-19, thank you for your patience and understanding.

Should you have any questions, please contact 757-294-5206.

Thank you
