Rural Hall Rural Hall was built beginning in 1871 to become a gathering place for the community. Today, the Rural Hall is available for community events and meetings.

Hard to believe it's been five years since the 1st Festival of Trees at Rural Hall! This coming Sunday, Dec. 7, from 2 to 5 p.m., you won't want to miss it - fully decorated trees, some with gifts underneath, will be raffled, along with dozens of great gift items donated by Surry artists and local businesses. Free admission - light refreshments & cider.

The Surry Garden Club's "Art from YOUR Garden" with Vince Butera is tonight and this year, its also a π’πžπœπ¨π§π π‚π‘πšπ§πœπž π’πšπ₯𝐞! The works remaining from Sunday's art exhibit are hanging on the walls and available for purchase. It's going to be a beautiful evening at Rural Hall!

Our 5th Annual Art Exhibit and Sale will take place on August 10th, 4:00 to 6:00pm. Please join us to see these works at Rural Hall. Admission is free. Wine and light refreshments will be served.

A portion of each sale goes to Rural Hall to help with maintenance of this historic building.

The show's tonight! "Art from YOUR Garden", Vince Butera's floral demo using flowers from Garden Club members' gardens begins at 6 p.m. on Weds, Aug. 10.

Doors open at 5 p.m. - come early and enjoy wine & cheese & sweets as well as the work of Surry Artists, in this final day of the Rural Hall Art Show.

This is our only fundraiser for 2025 - the four "Butera The Florist" creations will be raffled at the end of the show. Suggested donation of $10 includes three raffle tickets; extra tickets, $5 each.
