Pre-orders are being taken starting today. Call/stop by the city office or emial [email protected] with how many dozen you'd like. We'll contact you once they come in. No expried food items please. All proceeds will go towards further filling holiday baskets for the community!

Eeek it's going to be Halloween! Don't miss out on the Costume Parade and Trunk or Treat in town this Friday 🎃👻Parade lineup will start @ City Hall at 5:15 and go down Pleasant Ave to Hope Lutheran Church - Surrey, ND where the trunks will be waiting. Anyone can come dress up, bring your pets, atvs, golf cart, trailers. If you'd like to decorate a trunk and park at the church to pass out goodies, please do so. The more the merrier. It should a ghoulish nice evening!

Great news! An extra Roll-Off will be provided for residential cleanup and disposal of household items next Monday October 20th. Located on the property lot just kiddy corner north of city hall.

Let's show our gratitude please don't dump alongside or overfill the container. No kitchen trash, tires, hazardous materials such as oil, wet paint, or other chemicals. Also no tree branches, leaves, grass, or appliances. There are other resouces avialalbe for that.

First District health unit will be out on October 15 at 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, they will be offering Covid boosters, flu shots, RSV and some others that you might want/need so come on over and get jabbed! We will have coffee and cookies. If any questions feel free to contact the senior center leave a message on the answering service.

The City Hall is not a drop off for animals however this little one was brought here this morning and needs a home. If not claimed by 3:15 today will be relocated to the pound.

Update: The Intersection off HWY 2 coming to the school is being paved today. The road will still be too hot to drive on by the time school get out. Watch for signs maybe take another route.

The right bound lane going to Minot will be open. The left bound lane going east will be closed. The left turn coming off the highway to the school will also be closed.

On another note Sewer Relining is officially done until next spring!

October 3rd about 9am for 4-6 hours power will be down for residents in town who are on Ottertail. Maybe make your coffee early that morning. 😀
